AIP Funded Provision

AIP funded provisions are a vital part of the approach to learning and behaviour support. Our Learning Support Centre’s (LSC) provide separate short term teaching and support tailored to the needs of pupils with challenging behaviour. T.R.U.S.T provide outreach support which may consist of intensive nurture provision, group work and one2one in school support. Each AIP service focusses on a specific key stage and geographical area (not exclusively) of the North West wedge. Wherever possible ‘outreach’ services are offered by each centre however given capacity and requests for placements, outreach at Primary phase is primarily delivered by the T.R.U.S.T team with the Inclusion Manager and Outreach worker primarily supporting the Secondary phase. We currently have 3 Learning support centre's supporting children in key stage 2 – 3. The key stage 3 centre opened in November 2015 and by early 2018 we hope to have created an additional provision for those young people in KS4.
